Brian Abajah is a Kenyan actor and commercial model rapidly gaining recognition in the Film and Television industry. He currently stars as the lead in the 2025 Showmax Original series Reckless, solidifying his status as a rising star on the African screen.

Raised by his grandmother in Western Kenya, Abajah’s passion for performance was ignited at a young age through school plays and choir. His television debut came in 2019 with a recurring role as Felix in the Kenyan drama Next Meal, marking the beginning of a dynamic career in both screen and stage.

He went on to appear in a range of acclaimed theatrical productions, including Radicals (2019), which earned two nominations at the Sanaa Theatre Awards for Best Tragedy and Best Costume. His short film credits include MENstruation (2020), which screened at The Broadway International Film Festival (Los Angeles) and The Women of African Descent Film Festival (New York).

Abajah was also a standout contestant on Next Superstar, Kenya’s first televised acting competition, where his compelling screen presence earned him a role in the groundbreaking Netflix release Sincerely Daisy (2020), the first Kenyan feature film to debut on the platform.

He portrayed Corporal Ian in the action feature Mission to Rescue (2021), followed by guest appearances in high-profile productions such as Crime & Justice, Showmax’s first Kenyan Original series. He currently plays a recurring role as Andrew in the fan-favorite drama Single Kiasi.

In addition to his screen and stage work, Abajah has appeared in a wide range of television commercials for both local and international brands.

Outside of his acting career, Abajah is completing a degree in Criminal Law, is an avid rapper, and plays rugby in his spare time.
